A Check Scanning Kiosk by RENOME SMART is set to launch soon in a country in the Gulf of Guinea region.
Bank checks are a common form of cashless payment in the region. To reduce the workload on bank branches, our clients commissioned RENOME SMART to develop a check scanning kiosk.
The device is equipped with a Pertech scanner that captures all necessary data and stores it in a secure log. It also includes a compartment for storing physical checks. Once the information is transferred to the banking system, the corresponding amount is credited to the recipient’s account.
RENOME SMART completed the kiosk in less than three months and is now developing the software to support it. The full solution is expected to be finalized and launched by the end of the year.
